The ladies story started ten years ago at Lyon Verger.
The team has climbed all the steps to reach the national elite, i.e. the first Division of the French Championship in 2000. It kept its rank during two years. Since then it has remained one of the top teams in the second Division.
At the regional level, although the Lyon Verger team has only once won the regional league championship, it has always ended up on the podium.
2006 results : 2nd of 12 in the French qualifier of the 2nd Division at Quétigny. The winner was St. Nom 2.
3rd at the league championship in Annecy behind Villette and Aix.
